D23 Destination is just over a month away, and we’re already looking forward to what Disney will announce!
Beyond the thrilling announcements we’re expecting, though, this is also a great event to check out some exclusive merchandise, as well as get a sneak peek at some merchandise that hasn’t hit shelves yet. If you want to know what the BEST way to shop at the event is, the D23 Shopping Spree is the way to go!
D23 Gold Members have the incredible opportunity to shop tons of new designs, styles, and more during this year’s Destination D23 event at Coronado Springs Resort on August 30th and 31st. Tickets to the event are required to shop, but that one ticket will get you access to all four shopping locations.
The Walt Disney Company Store
This will be your one stop for all the official merchandise for Destination D23 2025, as well as collections including The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney Studios, and new D23 Member-exclusives.
You’ll want to be on the lookout for popular brands like RSVLTS, Spirit Jersey, Loungefly, and much more. We have a feeling a lot of the merch here will go fast, so it may want to be one of your first stops.
Mickey’s of Glendale
If you love Walt Disney Imagineering, this is the shop for you! You’ll find all-new collections inspired by Disney Destinations, The Muppets Studio, and much more. (Which also means, if you’ve really been missing Muppets Courtyard, this is one stop you can’t miss.)
Shopping here will be extra easy and quick thanks to the use of Merchandise Mobile Checkout. Be sure your phone is charged and you’ve got your portable charger just to be safe, as this will likely be MUCH faster than checking out in person.
Disney Studio Store Hollywood
For the first time EVER, the magic of Tinseltown is coming to Florida for Destination D23! Disney Studio Store Hollywood will be a pop-up location featuring new apparel, accessories, drinkware, and open-edition pins for fans of all ages.
What is Tinseltown, you may ask? This is another word for Hollywood, particularly the fact that Hollywood has long been the center of the American Movie Industry. Movie fans will absolutely want to check this spot out, but remember that it’ll be EXTRA packed since it’s only a pop-up!
Ink & Paint Marketplace
Finally, the Ink & Paint Marketplace will be home to an assortment of fan-favorite brands and friends of Disney, including Lug, Collectors Editions, Ravensburger, Art Brands, and Pandora, just to name a few.
Again, we’re expecting this to be very popular, especially with those Lug bags — we’ve started seeing those EVERYWHERE! We’ll be checking each of these out at the event, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB!

It’s so easy to get caught up in the excitement! We’re local and, months ago, decided to join D23 so we could attend. Then we find out membership isn’t enough. It’s a couple hundred for tickets to attend plus hundreds for a hotel room. Now Disney tempts us to spend hundreds on merchandise…..which, of course, we’d want to! So while Disney makes it sound like they’re doing us a favor by inviting us into their convention and club, it’s really just a money grab and another way to part us from our hard-earned money. Fomo and wanting to belong. Then when it’s all over and the excitement dies down, we’re thinking….what did we just do?! Look how much this cost us…and it wasn’t worth it! Sadly, Disney is so far removed from Walt’s vision and values. D23 is really only for those with lots of disposable income 🙁 …..and in these times, that’s not most of us….
