CLOSURE Revealed for Disneyland's Most Iconic Restaurant

I have a favorite restaurant in Disneyland, and you might not have ever heard of it, but it’s likely you’ve seen it on one of Disneyland’s most iconic rides.

Pirates of the Caribbean

The Blue Bayou Restaurant is attached to Pirates of the Caribbean, and Disney is temporarily closing both for a refurbishment.

The Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland will be closing on May 4th and is tentatively scheduled to reopen on May 21st. Alongside this closure, Pirates of the Caribbean will also be closing for a refurbishment. While Pirates of the Caribbean is listed as a ride that will be closed for refurbishment starting on May 4th, we don’t see any current reopening dates.

Blue Bayou

If you didn’t know, Blue Bayou is part of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride! While you’re on your boat, if you look over to the right after you board the boat and are floating through the bayou, you can see the restaurant. While it’s pretty dark, you can see the light glowing at the tables.

That’s a lot going on! Sometimes rides open earlier than expected, but it’s a good idea to keep your eye on the Disneyland calendar to see what will be open and closed during your visit. Currently, the Disneyland calendar only goes out till May 4th.
