Disney Pushes Back Release Dates For New Movies

There are so many Disney movies coming out, like The Mandalorian & Grogu, Toy Story 5, and more. We’re the first to be in the movie theater with our buckets of popcorn and large sodas so we can enjoy Disney on the big screen.

Unfortunately, there have been some date changes for some upcoming movies!

According to Deadline, an untitled Marvel movie was previously set to release on February 18th, 2028, but will now be released on July 28th, 2028.

Another untitled Disney movie will be moved from July 28th, 2028, to February 18th, 2028. Walt Disney Studios has also requested November 10th, 2028, for another untitled Disney movie. There was previously a Marvel movie set for that November 10th date, but it is no longer on the schedule.

In 2029, Disney is holding dates for February 16th, March 9th, August 3rd, October 5th, and November 9th. Also in 2029, there are two Marvel movies set for May 4th and July 13th. A Disney Animation movie is expected on June 15th, 2029, and a Pixar movie for November 21st.

After all of those changes and movies coming later than expected, let’s chat about movies that have official release dates with titles! A second live-action Lilo & Stitch film will be released on May 26th, 2028, and Incredibles 3 will be released on June 26th, 2028.

Toy Story 5 will be coming to theaters on June 19th, 2026, and will talk about toys vs technology. Disney has shared a few new looks, and we’re pretty excited to say hi to the main antagonist, Lilypad, who’s “always listening.”

The Mandalorian & Grogu will be coming out on May 22nd, 2026, too! Now’s a great time to update your AMC A-List membership because you’ll want to take advantage of all of these movies.
