Heading to Disney World in June?
It’s summer break for many people, and that means that Disney World is often just a little bit more crowded. And what happens when the parks get crowded? Well, prices go up! That’s why we’ve rounded up the Lightning Lane options under $20 in June.
Magic Kingdom
If you’re looking to buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass in Magic Kingdom, you’ll unfortunately be paying more than $20 per person every day in June. However, you CAN get the Lightning Lane Single Passes for less than that threshold on select dates.
The Lightning Lane Single Pass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is less than $20 every day of the month (that pricing has already been released for). Most days, the price varies from $11-$13 per person.
For TRON Lightcycle / Run, you can get the Single Pass for $19 per person on June 9th-12th, as well as June 25th. Prices haven’t yet been released for the entire month.
EPCOT
In EPCOT, you can actually purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for less than $20 on a few select dates. It’s $19 per person on June 9th-12th and June 25th.
Lightning Lane Single Passes are available for less than $20 per person for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind every day of the month. Typically, prices vary from $16-$18 per person for this ride in June.
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios is the park where you’ll probably be out of luck. Multi Pass is more than $20 per person for every day that prices have been released, and the Single Pass price for Rise of the Resistance ranges from $20-$22 per person throughout the month.
Hollywood Studios is home to some of the most popular rides in Disney World — many of which have very long wait times on a regular basis. That’s why the prices here tend to be on the high end.
Animal Kingdom
Over in Animal Kingdom, Lightning Lane Multi Pass is less than $20 per person on most days. The only days where it’s MORE than $20 per person are the week of June 15th-23rd.
And over at Flight of Passage, the Single Pass option is less than $20 per person every day of the month. It looks to be ranging between $15-$17 per person in the month of June.
How Lightning Lanes Work
And if you’re heading to the parks soon and want to know how Lightning Lanes work, here’s a little breakdown. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you entry to most of the physical Lightning Lane entrances in the park. You’ll need to purchase it through the My Disney Experience app for whichever park you’re visiting.
Disney Resort guests can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and book their first three Lightning Lane return times up to 7 days before their trip. If you’re staying off-site, you can book up to 3 days in advance. Once you scan into one of those Lightning Lanes in the park on the day of your visit, you can start booking more — holding 3 reservations at a time all day long.
Lightning Lane Single Pass can be purchased on the same schedule as Multi Pass, but this option is only available for one or two rides in each park — typically the most popular rides. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Rise of the Resistance, and Flight of Passage all have Lightning Lane access through Single Pass. For these rides, you pay one fee to use the Lightning Lane entrance for those rides specifically, and you’ll book a return time when you purchase.
For the bougie guests, you can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This option is $129-$449 per person, per day, and gives you one-time access to every Lightning Lane in the park you purchase it for, WITHOUT selecting return times. If you prefer to go with the flow instead of scheduling your day, this may be worth the cost for you.
