From a GIANT Ferris wheel to a Cars-themed race through Radiator Springs, there’s a LOT to do at Disney California Adventure.

If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland Resort this summer, you probably have a whole LIST of rides, shows, and other entertainment that you’d like to check out. But be aware some rides may be closed on your next visit. Luckily, we’re here to keep you informed and prepared, so let’s talk about two attraction closures starting soon in Disney California Adventure. 

According to the Disneyland website, Toy Story Midway Mania! will close for refurbishment on July 17th. The calendar does not currently show a reopening date, though we will keep our eyes out for updates. (The August refurbishment calendar has not been released yet, so we’ll have to wait and see if the reopening date will happen sometime in August)

Additionally, Soarin’ Around the World will close for refurbishment on July 5th and is expected to reopen on July 15th. If all goes according to plan, this should be a short closure.

For the most up-to-date information on all the latest closures, be sure to check the refurbishment calendar on Disney’s website, as Disney construction is notorious for changing all the time. And don’t forget that Peter Pan’s Flight is set to reopen on June 29th, according to the Disneyland website.

The good news is that there are PLENTY of other rides to explore in Disneyland, and if you’re really missing Toy Story Mania! and Soarin’, you can travel to Florida; both rides are up and running in Disney World!
