A Disney World Hotel Restaurant DELAYED Its Reopening Date

Trattoria al Forno is a popular dining spot located on Disney’s BoardWalk, serving up Italian-inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Trattoria recently closed for some refurbishments, and Disney stated that guests could expect the restaurant to be closed from June 11th to June 17th, 2023. In the meantime, guests have been able to enjoy the restaurant’s limited breakfast menu while using Flying Fish’s dining room. We made dining reservations for Trattoria al Forno for June 19th, hoping to check out the recent changes and see if there were any menu updates. But we just got a phone call from Disney, and it was NOT what we wanted to hear! 😥

A Cast Member called us on June 14th to let us know that 1. Trattoria al Forno would not be open on time, and 2. that we would need to reschedule our June 19th reservation.

The Cast Member cited construction delays as the reason behind the delay, but they also said that now, no one really knows when the restaurant WILL open. Keep in mind that we could learn more information in the near future, so stay tuned for additional updates.

The Cast Member did say that they anticipated Trattoria to reopen in “late June,” which isn’t too far away from the initial reopening date.

Although she did try to help us find another suitable reservation, we were still a little disappointed! In the meantime, guests can still grab pizza by the slice from Trattoria’s Pizza Window’s temporary location, which is between Trattoria and AbracadaBar.
