There are a LOT of restaurants opening in Disney World in 2023!

We’ve got Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land and The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk. But another one that we’ve been watching closely is Summer House on the Lake in Disney Springs. The restaurant has been under construction for a little while now, and we’ve finally got an update on its opening timeline!
Disney has announced that Summer House on the Lake will open in “late 2023” at Disney Springs. We only knew previously that it would be opening sometime this year. The new restaurant “embodies a breezy, beach house vibe that will pair perfectly with the sweeping views of Lake Buena Vista.”

The menu for the new spot is inspired by California, with everything from pizza and pasta to fresh salads and sandwiches. The restaurant will serve its own Summer House Rosé along with a selection of wine, beer, handcrafted cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. You can enjoy all these offerings on one of the three expansive patios.
