If you’re walking through Disney Springs and happen to catch a whiff of delicious baked goods and spot a line longer than one for Peter Pan at Magic Kingdom, chances are you’ve found Gideon’s Bakehouse!
This sweet spot is home to creative half-pound cookies, massive cake slices, and unique cold brews, and each month brings something new to the bakery. We stopped by to check out some of their March offerings and were thrilled to see that some of our favorite flavors had returned!
We stopped by Gideon’s Bakehouse to grab a few of our favorite returning treats, and boy, are we glad we did! First up, we grabbed the Sea Turtle Cookie for $7. This is made with premium Chocolate, Homemade Caramel that often busts out the sides, and whole Candied Pecans sprinkled with signature Sea Salt. This masterpiece perfectly combines Sweet, Salty, Gooey, and Crunchy.
This is, yet again, one of our favorite Gideon’s flavors. It is SUPER caramel-forward with lots of gooey caramel bits throughout. The chocolate chips are a great addition, because what’s better than chocolate and caramel?! The candied pecans add a lovely nuttiness that helps cut through some of the sweetness from the rest of the ingredients. If you’re a fan of turtle candy, you’ll love this cookie.
We also grabbed the Ginger Snap Cold Brew for $6.50. This cold brew is mixed with oat milk and ginger syrup for flavor.
This is such a unique cold brew, and our reporter enjoyed it much more than they thought they would. It’s not super ginger-heavy, but instead has a light hint of the ginger syrup that complements what we’d describe as a cookie butter flavor. This is giving us more Biscoff cookie vibes. We do wish the coffee flavor were more prominent, as it’s more milky than coffee-flavored.
We’ll be on the lookout for even more Disney snacks to review for you from Disney Springs and beyond. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
