Disney Opened a NEW STORE Today. Come Check it Out!

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway may have opened on the west coast earlier this year, but there are still some exciting additions we’ve been waiting for!

Toontown

Disneyland’s reimagined Mickey’s Toontown was originally scheduled to open on March 8th but got pushed back to March 19th due to some heavy winter storms. During this construction, guests riding Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway haven’t been able to visit the gift shop — until now! Earlier today, Disneyland opened EngineEar Souvenirs ahead of the official opening of the rest of Mickey’s Toontown.

The whole gift shop is themed to the surrounding Toontown, starting with the sign out front.

There are lots of references to trains (it’s the gift shop for Runaway Railway, after all), from the train track “blocks” on the floor…

…to the real model train on the track above guests’ heads!

There’s also a “Toontown Railway” schedule on the wall…

…and tons of merchandise in theme with the ride and area, like Minnie ears, t-shirts, and plushes.

We were especially intrigued but this mug that we found for $24.99.

We can imagine how adorable this would be with steam from your coffee coming out of the top, but it just doesn’t look very practical when it comes to drinking out of it and washing it after. There were also some shirts for the ride, like this one we found for $29.99…
