When planning a trip to Disney World, one of the most important decisions you’ll make is where to stay. And with so many options, it can be overwhelming, and those Disney prices can add up quick!
So if you’re looking to stay in the middle of the action, but maybe for a little cheaper, it’s always a great idea to check out the Disney Springs area resorts. These hotels ARE official Disney hotels, and if you’re looking for proximity and willing to go without some Disney theming, these can be an incredible way to save money on your vacation. Recently, our team stayed at the Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa, and here is our full review!
This resort is located within walking distance to Disney Springs and even gives you the same Early Entry perk offered to Disney Resort guests. They even provide complimentary shuttles to and from the parks. These are two HUGE perks Disney Resort guests receive that you would not miss out on by staying at this hotel!
Moving into the main amenities of this resort, there is a gorgeous pool complete with a pool bar called Agave Fresco open from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM, perfect for ordering a nice poolside drink! This is an amazing place to relax in between busy park days.
Then, heading back inside, there is a small cafe called The Grove Café & Brew open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, where you can order pastries and drinks. A great place to stop earlier in the morning to grab your caffeine boost before heading to the parks.
There is also a small grab-and-go section where you can get a small selection of food and drinks to take with you into the parks or to your room!
You can also find a small arcade! This is the perfect stop for your kiddos on a resort day, or even on your check-in while you’re waiting to head into the parks or to Disney Springs.
There are even some amenities that you can’t find at Value Disney resorts, such as a full gym with weights and machines, perfect for a quick workout!
And maybe the best amenity of all is the Indulged Spa! There is nothing better on a resort day than heading to the spa for a massage to relax after all of those fun, but exhausting, Disney days!
There is even a sit-down restaurant in the resort, another perk missing from the Disney Value Resorts. Here you can dine at the American Kitchen Bar & Grill to enjoy an amazing meal! Don’t worry, we have a full restaurant review coming to DFB soon, so make sure to keep an eye out!
Now that we’ve gone over all the amenities, let’s dive into the three different room types and pricing of this resort! First up is the Family Suite!
This is a two-bedroom suite that can sleep up to 5 people and includes a living room and a four-person table in the common area. We found rates on this suite starting around $400!
We also love the storage around the TV area, directly across from the couch.
To the left of the couch is where you’ll find the balcony. Ours had a pretty fantastic view!
When it comes to the bathroom, we were SO impressed with the amount of counter space — just look how much there is! There are also two sinks, making it easy for 2-3 people to get ready at the same time.
Directly across, you’ll find a fantastic tub. It even has jets!
Inside the commode room, you’ll find a separate sink, and this is also where you’ll find the shower!
When it comes to sleeping, there are two rooms to explore. The first has one queen-sized bed, a TV, some more storage, and another great view outside.
However, there’s also a second room with two twin-sized beds, which also has a TV, a great view, and more storage. Your fifth and final guest can sleep on the pull-out couch in the living room area.
If you want a room closer to the pool with a view, we recommend checking out the Lanai Rooms, which start around $150 per night (when looking at dates in August 2026). However, we got to see one of their Lanai King Deluxe Bunkbed Rooms, which start at around $180 per night (also in August 2026) and can fit four people.
Unlike the family suites, the beds here are all in one room, which means it’s a great fit for families with younger kiddos whom they want to keep an eye on. We do love how the bunkbeds feature Mickey duvets — how fun!
The main bed in the room is a King bed, located right in the center. You’ll find nightstands on either side with charging ports, as well as storage for some of your belongings.
Then, we come to one of the biggest draws of the room — the balcony that looks out over the pool! While this won’t be the best for people who want some peace and quiet, as the pool is often busy, it’s a great way for parents to keep a close eye on their kids without necessarily sitting right at the pool deck.
Opposite the bed, you’ll find a TV on a dresser that allows for more storage, as well as a desk and desk chair. To the left of that, you’ll find a full-length mirror closer to the bathroom.
Right across from the mirror is where you’ll find a small hallway that includes the closet, and past that, the bathroom.
You’ll come to the sink area first, which is separate from the shower and commode room. We love that it lights up!
Then, inside the commode room, you’ll find the commode itself, as well as a bathtub and shower combination.
Just want a room that gives you somewhere to shower and rest your head at night, close to the magic? You’ll want to take a look at the Tower Rooms, which we found have rates starting around $138 a night. We checked out the rooms with two Queen beds on our tour, and you’ll often also find a pretty amazing view.
When you enter the room, the bathroom will likely be right off to one side (in our case, it was to our left). In here, there isn’t a bathtub, but a glass shower, along with a sink and commode all in one room. However, there are plenty of towels and additional space on the countertop, as well as under the counter.
Across from the bathroom, you’ll find a full-length mirror — gotta make sure those outfits are looking great!
Across from the beds, you’ll find the TV, TV dresser, desk, and desk chair.
This room also has a standing closet for whatever you need it for, instead of one that’s built into the wall.
That takes us over to the balcony, which, as expected, gives us a great view!
The other side of the room is taken up by the beds, as well as their matching bedside tables…
…along with another small couch for lounging around.
It’s important to note a couple of fees that may come with your stay at this hotel. Even with these fees, it’s much cheaper than a stay at many Disney-owned resorts, especially with how much room you get.
- Self Parking: $30
- Valet: $45
- Resort Fee: $69
- Breakfast Buffet: $25
This hotel has great options for all those looking to stay on property, right near the magic, but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, OR if they’re looking for a hotel that doesn’t scream Disney with every step, but still gets you the perks of being on property. We’ll continue to bring you all the latest and greatest Disney World news and beyond, so stay tuned to DFB!
