Ride-themed Minnie ears are a big trend in Disney World right now, but most of them are part of the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction merchandise series. However, today we spotted some NEW ride-themed ears that we weren’t expecting!

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

The new ears are themed to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which is a fairly controversial ride over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The ride itself is really fun, but it took the place of the beloved Great Movie Ride, which has definitely upset a few fans. But even if you’re a die-hard Great Movie Ride fan, we think you’ll have to admit that these new ears are adorable.

In the Runaway Railway ride, you’ll board a train that’s driven by engineer Goofy for a leisurely ride around a park. You see Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto on the way as the trio are getting ready for a picnic in the same park. As you can imagine, the story takes a few turns, and you’ll run into some unexpected bumps. But that’s the premise you need in order to understand these new Minnie ears!

New Runaway Railway Ears

The new ears have a picnic theme, with a bright red and white gingham bow that has the cute little Chuuby bird in the middle.

On one ear there’s Pluto holding some sausages for the picnic…

…and the other shows Mickey & Minnie in their car, singing on the way to the picnic.

If you turn the ears around, you’ll see engineer Goofy bursting through the back with “The End” written above him…

…and the logo for the railroad company, RunAmuck RailRoad, on the other ear. (Honestly, with a railroad named like that we shouldn’t be surprised that some things go wrong during our ride!)

We think these ears are super cute, but there’s just one puzzling thing about them: We found them in Magic Kingdom instead of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where the Runaway Railway ride is located! The ears might make their way over to Hollywood Studios as well later on, so be on the lookout there. In the meantime, you can grab these ears at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom for $29.99.
