Packing for Disney World can be pretty difficult, especially when it comes to the things you don’t know if you’ll need or not.
Sure, you need clothes, your toiletries, and maybe some Disney accessories you plan on wearing, but what about those items you can’t tell if they’re essentials or not? A mini fan, a hat, extra shoes you aren’t totally sure you’ll wear, and what about a poncho? Listen, we know it can be hard to decide, but believe us when we say that these four items? Well, we’re here to pass on these four products. Yeah, these are ones you won’t want to head to the parks without, as wild as it may be for us to admit it.
For Those Rainy Days
The truth is, when we saw these Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers, we genuinely had no faith in them. We thought they’d fall apart, and we tried them out to warn you NOT to buy them. So, imagine our surprise when they actually WORKED super well! While we still suggest bringing a poncho, umbrella, or raincoat to the parks, there’s not much they can do to keep your feet from getting wet. These solve that problem easily, though we do recommend sizing up to alleviate any discomfort from the zipper, and if you want to be sure they’ll zip all the way up.
Never Struggle With Back Sweat Again
Is there anything worse than taking off your backpack and realizing you’re COVERED in sweat? Not in our book, which is why we’re such big fans of the VentaPak. This helps to create space between your back and your bag so you don’t end up with that big patch of sweat that ends up giving you the chills while you’re standing in the AC. It’s also a great way to make sure your posture stays solid, which is important for standing long hours in the parks. We had this on our backpack for months, took it off for ONE day, and majorly regretted it, so we haven’t made that mistake again.
A Powerful Fan For Even The Hottest Days
There are lots of fans out there on the market (we own a lot of them), but if you need something that’s really going to do the job and keep you cool, the AMKEN Waist Fan is the way to go, hands down. It’s a little bit heavier than others, but we do love that it can stand on its own, be on a lanyard around your neck, or be clipped onto the waistband of your pants. It does a great job keeping you cool, especially if you have it clipped on and you’re someone who carries a lot of heat in their back or trunk. It’s a little bit louder than other fans, but for how powerful it is, we think it’s worth it!
A Hat AND A Fan in One!
While we aren’t a big fan of the style of the Wide Brimmed Sun Hat with Solar Fans, since it did feel a little bulky to us, we do love that it both keeps you cool AND protected from the sun at the same time. The fans themselves can either be charged normally or charged with solar power, which can really come in handy on hot summer days. You also can adjust if both fans are blowing, only one, and you can also remove them easily if you choose to. The versatility was a big plus for us! We did notice too though that it’s best when the air around you is already cooler, such as when you’re in the AC, because otherwise, it just blows hot air around your face.
We’re here to bring you all the news and recommendations to help you plan your upcoming Disney World trip, so stay tuned to DFB!
