Park Passes Have COMPLETELY SOLD OUT for Annual Passholders on TRON’s Opening Day in Disney World

We’re just a few months away from the grand opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run!

The highly-anticipated coaster is coming soon to Magic Kingdom, and the opening date was announced just yesterday. But within 24 hours, people are already setting their plans to check out the new ride — Disney Park Passes are filling up!

Yesterday we shared that there was still plenty of Disney Park Pass availability for Magic Kingdom on TRON’s opening day, which is April 4th, 2023. But now, passes have been completely filled for Annual Passholders on that day!

For a few weeks at the beginning of April, the Pirate Pass and Pixie Dust Pass tiers are both blocked out. That means that the reservations were completely filled up by those with the Incredi-Pass or the Sorcerer Pass.

Keep in mind that a change was just announced that allows Disney World Annual Passholders to enter a theme park after 2PM without a reservation, as long as they’re not visiting Magic Kingdom on a Saturday or Sunday. If this change goes into effect before TRON opens, then you might be able to enter the park that way.

If you really MUST be there for opening day, you can purchase a separate ticket or book a hotel room and then make your Park Pass that way, but you’ll want to do it FAST before the rest of the passes sell out.

We’ll be there on TRON’s opening day to check out the crowds and report back. Currently, there are still passes available for ticket holders and resort guests, so go ahead and book those ASAP if you’re planning to be there for the big day.
