Believe it or not, The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year!
Disney knows how to celebrate, and we’ve already seen some sneak peeks about what we can expect in terms of decor, merchandise, food, and more. Disney just released new details about a new nighttime spectacular coming to Disneyland, and now we know exactly how you’ll be able to view it!
World of Color — One is a NEW take on the nighttime spectacular in celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary and it’s premiering at Disney California Adventure on January 27th, 2023. We just got a HUGE sneak peek at what the show will look like, and now we know just how Disney plans on managing the crowds for this performance!
Disney will use a Virtual Queue system for World of Color — One! You’ll be able to book a seat for you and your party via the Disneyland app. Distribution for the virtual queue will begin at noon daily, and is available for guests who have entered Disney California Adventure park for the day or entered Disneyland park with a Park Hopper ticket.
When there are multiple showtimes, distribution for additional showtimes will begin immediately after distribution is full for the first showtime. Once you’ve secured a virtual queue spot, enter your designated viewing area for your show time about 30-45 minutes before the show begins.

Since spots are on a first-come, first-served basis, the queue may reach capacity. If that happens, check in with a Cast Member at the Paradise Bay viewing area shortly before the show for walk-up viewing options. It’s not required to join the Virtual Queue, but it is highly recommended as walk-up viewing options for each performance are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
