VIDEO: Mirabel Made a Surprise Appearance in Disney World Today!

Disney+ Day has already yielded some exciting announcements, like a hotel discount for Disney+ subscribers, some new content streaming on Disney+, and freebies in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But the celebrations aren’t over yet.

It’s Disney+ Day!

If you’re in the Disney Parks for Disney+ Day, you might see some extra decorations and events going on as part of the celebrations today. And if you’re not, we can bring the party to you! Check out the Disney+ Day PARADE (featuring some rare characters) that we saw at Hollywood Studios.

We got to Disney’s Hollywood Studios early this morning to get a head start on all the fun. There were free Mickey ears at the entrance for Disney+ subscribers and all kinds of new decorations celebrating Disney+. But one of the best parts about being in the park today was the Disney+ Day Motorcade!

We saw this parade last year as well, but there’s a NEW addition this time. Before we get to the new character, we spotted Princess Tiana looking very fashionable as she led the parade.

And then Mirabel from Encanto came next! Mirabel debuted in Disney World as part of the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in Magic Kingdom earlier this year, but this is the first time we’ve seen her in Hollywood Studios.

She danced by, waving hello to everyone as she went.

After Mirabel, we saw more Disney characters, like Pinocchio and Geppetto (maybe they’re celebrating the release of the live-action Pinocchio on Disney+!).

Chip and Dale were there in their Rescue Rangers outfits, too.

And a few characters who are usually part of the Pixar Pals Motorcade in this park joined in as well, including Sully from Monsters, Inc.…

Mickey and Minnie Mouse brought up the rear in their adorable 50th Anniversary outfits.

The Disney+ Day Motorcade is happening today in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today (September 8th) at 11:30AM, 12:40PM, 2:50PM, 3:50PM, and 5:10PM. If you’re a Disney+ subscriber, don’t forget to take advantage of some new deals announced today, including discounts on Disney World hotels and some Disney cruises!
