Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s version of a timeshare and it comes with its own special perks!
DVC members can get access to exclusive merchandise, special lounges, and unique events. We recently shared a look at how you could even save THOUSANDS on a DVC membership. And now we have DVC news that might make you suddenly feel the urge to plan a Disneyland trip!
Disney has announced that DVC is developing its first Member Lounge at Disneyland Resort in California! The new lounge will be called “Disney Vacation Club Star View Station.” OooOoO fancy!
According to Disney, the new lounge is expected to open in the first half of 2023, so plan your trips accordingly! (Anyone else getting Space 220 vibes from that concept art below?)
The lounge will be located in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, on the second floor of the Star Wars: Launch Bay building. It will have a sleek design aesthetic, will be home to a “dedicated Disney Vacation Club Member Services team,” and will have seating, free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and more.
Once open, it’ll be available for members to enjoy daily during scheduled hours. Keep in mind that Disney notes that it’ll only be available to “eligible” members. They go on to specify that the ownership interest must have been purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc., and you must have a valid ticket and park pass to get in.
It looks like this will be a really uniquely themed space for DVC members to enjoy. If you’re a Member, be on the lookout for more information about this space.
