Between the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland Forever fireworks, and World of Color, in Disneyland Resort, there’s A LOT to keep guests busy after dark! But, what’s been keeping us busy? Well, all the NEW treats that have arrived for the occasion, of course!
We’ve had Unicorn-themed ice cream, Disneyland’s take on Funfetti cake, a churro that turned our teeth blue, and one of the newest treats even had our team DIVIDED. But, we’re not done yet! There are seriously A TON of treats available to celebrate The Main Street Electrical Parade coming back for the first time since 2019 and today we’re headed over to Red Rose Taverne to see if the newest themed drink can compete with all the other treats!
Located in Disneyland Park, Red Rose Taverne is now home to the Pineapple Night Light. Much like the name implies, it features fresh pineapple purée and Sprite mixed together, and then it’s topped with a glow cube.

The Pineapple Night Light at Red Rose Tavern
Now, there’s nothing all that fancy about this drink — it’s basically just a sweet sprite that is pretty heavy on the pineapple. If anything, it’s refreshing and fun (it even CHANGES COLOR in the dark thanks to the glow cube!) but, be warned — there’s A LOT of pulp in there. So, if you don’t enjoy slurping up little flakes of pineapple (or pineapple in general for that matter), you’ll want to steer clear.

Pineapple Night Light
If you need something to compare the taste to in helping you decide whether it’s worth paying $10.99 to get over other specialty treats right now, we found that it reminded us of the Schweitzer Falls drink at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar just without the alcohol. Of course, for us, it’s hard to go wrong when mixing pineapple and sprite, so we really did enjoy this drink. If you’re ready to give it a try, head on over to Red Rose Taverne, or try the many many other treats that are available in the park for the return of nighttime entertainment! And, be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more of the latest Disney news and updates!
