Could Key Lime Cheesecake ICE CREAM Come to Disney World SOON?

Salt & Straw is heading to Disney Springs VERY soon!

We can’t wait!

The family-run ice cream chain is known for its unique, frequently changing flavors (like banana and avocado sorbet or brown ale and bacon). Salt & Straw uses locally sourced ingredients, and makes flavors that have an emphasis on community connections. While this ice cream shop already has a number of other locations — including one in Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort — we are eagerly anticipating its April 20th opening date in Disney Springs! Until then, all we can do is drool over Salt & Straw’s latest flavor (and you might drool too because it sounds amazing!).

Salt & Straw just shared that a new flavor from their Student Inventors Series “just dropped!” Bottomless Limes! blends ribbons of Key Lime cheesecake, chunks of a golden pie crust crystallized with brown sugar and ginger, and pieces of sprinkle-covered chocolate bark.

We actually gave a sneak peek at this flavor a few weeks ago when Salt & Straw revealed their newest flavor creations, but we couldn’t help but share details about it again since it is now available!

Each inventive flavor in this series was inspired by a creative story written by a kid. The story behind Bottomless Limes! was written by 12-year-old Rae and it investigates the origins of a mysterious holiday called Hole Day, which is celebrated by hanging string lights and turtle decorations and eating key lime pie ice cream for dinner?! Sounds like a party!
