Do You Know the Secret to Get Gideon’s Cookies WITHOUT the Wait?

Since Gideon’s Bakehouse opened in Disney Springs, it has drawn in lots and lots of visitors!

After a very successful soft opening, the unique cookie shop had its grand opening event with new flavors, merchandise, and more! Just a little bit after the shop opened, the virtual queue was already FULL with a wait time of 11 hours (!!!). The people need their cookies and peanut butter cold brew!

Ever since, we haven’t seen a line quite as crazy, but there have consistently been long waits whether in person or virtual. But did you know that there is a way to skip the super long wait times and STILL get your beloved Gideon’s cookies?

Gideon’s Bakehouse has an additional location in Orlando, and it’s usually much less busy than the Disney Springs shop! Located in the East End Market, you can take a trip to the OG half-pound cookie shop, and wait a fraction of the time you would in Disney World.

If you see that the line for Gideon’s in Disney Springs is wayyyyy too long, or the virtual queue is closed for the day, but you need that cookie fix, take a ride share to the East End Market location! We mapped it out from Disney Springs to the original Gideon’s store, and it’s about a 31-minute drive.

When we priced a ride share from platforms like Uber and Lyft, rides were between $25-$30 on average. This is not the cheapest option to get these incredible cookies, but it’s a quicker option.
