We’re almost halfway through September, which means the opening date for Disney World’s Skyliner Gondola System is almost here! The new transportation system will connect Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with several Disney World resorts.

Thanks to a member of our extended DFB family, we learned that Disney World Cast Members will get an opportunity to preview the Skyliner before it opens to the public on September 29th.
Cast Members who work at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will get the first opportunity to test the Skyliner, and all Disney World Cast Members will have the chance to take a test flight on a later date.

Hollywood Studios Cast Member Preview Dates
Hollywood Studios Cast Members may take to the skies on the following dates:
- September 16th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- September 18th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM or from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Registration will not be required for Hollywood Studios Cast Member previews.
Walt Disney World Cast Member Preview Dates
Non-Hollywood Studios Cast Members will get the chance to try out the Skyliner from September 23rd through September 26th, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Cast Members will need to register on the Hub for their test flight on September 13th.
