We know, we know, it’s still a little early, but it’s never too early by Disney World’s timeline! If you’re planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth for Christmas, there’s probably one thing you still need to cross off your to-do list — snagging those dining reservations. They can go quickly around the holidays, which is why you’ll need to grab your ASAP now that reservations are open!

The holiday season comes RIGHT after Halloween in Disney World, and this year, there will be not one, but TWO special events taking place. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is returning, but Hollywood Studios is also introducing an all-new event called Jollywood Nights. And today, Disney shared more details about the entertainment at this new party!
Update: Though heavy construction continues on the exterior of the hotel, it seems that the construction within the lobby has ended and the construction walls have been removed.

The holiday season typically brings a number of unique decorations and celebrations to Disney World. At EPCOT, 2023 will bring the return of the International Festival of the Holidays. This year, we’ll also see the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the start of the NEW Disney Jollywood Nights party. The holiday fun extends beyond the parks with decor, snacks, and more at Disney Springs and Disney’s hotels. But we’re very worried about one particularly iconic holiday display this year…

HOWEVER, let’s just say we’re also starting to look forward to the holiday season, especially with Disneyland recently confirming lots of events returning this year. Well, now, we know WHEN the holiday season begins in Disneyland!
Summer is wrapping up in Disney World, but we’re heading into an entirely different busy season…Halloween!
Halloween is HERE!
Halloween celebrations usually kick off in mid-August, and this year, they’re starting on August 11th with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. So if you’re traveling to Disney World in the coming months, be prepared for some spooky season celebrations! But you’ll also need to be prepared for a PROBLEM you may not be expecting at Magic Kingdom.

But Disney is already gearing up for Halloween (the celebrations start in August), and then once that ends, it’ll be time to kick off the holiday season in November. And next week, Disney is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays with a bunch of special treats!
