This year, Disney World is celebrating with a bunch of limited-time eats and drinks around the parks and resorts, and we (of course) are trying a bunch of them! Next on our list, we’re hitting up Animal Kingdom for two items you may be interested in.
Disney is celebrating Mother’s Day this week, and just like any other holiday, they’re going all out — especially when it comes to food! We love to try specialty food items, and have recently eaten a Millennium Falcon Sundae for Star Wars Day, a strawberry dressed up as a carrot for Easter, and even a St. Patrick’s Day whoopie pie!

…Encanto! (What, did you think we were going to say Bruno? We don’t talk about him). Okay, maybe we’ve been talking about a liiiittle more than that (like the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and the crowds in the theme parks), but Encanto has been a hot topic ever since it hit Disney+ last year. And now, the film has brought some new treats to Disney World!

That’s right, cupcake flavors! It seems like when we stop by a Disney World restaurant that sells cupcakes, there are often new flavors with new sugar decorations, a pile of icing on top, and most likely, some kind of unique filling in the middle. But hey, we’re not complaining — it just means more yummy desserts for us to try! And when we stopped by Disney’s Wilderness Lodge today, we were greeted with yet another treat to add to our LONG list of reviews.
It’s that time of year when some of our favorite Disney World treats get a red and pink makeover.
Let’s dig in before it melts!
We’ve tried a pink Sweetheart Cupcake, a Sweetheart Sundae made with red velvet Mickey and Minnie waffles, and even a selection of marshmallow and chocolate goodies. We just found a cupcake that’s NOT red or pink, but it’s got a whole lot of chocolatey goodness.
We love all kinds of treats here at the Disney Food Blog, especially fall-inspired snacks like the Pumpkin Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich or the (strange, but good) Monster drink. Throughout the month, we’ve tried tons of Halloween treats in Disney World, but there are still more new fall treats to taste!
