You Don’t Need a Ticket To Try This Ultimate Chocolate Cupcake in Disney World

It’s that time of year when some of our favorite Disney World treats get a red and pink makeover.

Let’s dig in before it melts!

We’ve tried a pink Sweetheart Cupcake, a Sweetheart Sundae made with red velvet Mickey and Minnie waffles, and even a selection of marshmallow and chocolate goodies. We just found a cupcake that’s NOT red or pink, but it’s got a whole lot of chocolatey goodness.

The Swan and Dolphin Hotels, located within walking distance to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, are true hidden gems in Disney World, and we found this Chocolate Valentine’s Day Cupcake at Fuel in the Dolphin Hotel. This grab-and-go market usually has sandwiches, snacks, coffee, and, of course, cupcakes.

This cupcake is CHOCOLATE, y’all. We’re not exaggerating. It’s made with chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream frosting, chocolate shavings, and a red and gold chocolate medallion. It comes in a cute little heart print wrapper.

Chocolate Valentine’s Day Cupcake

We loved everything about this cupcake! It had a great, genuine chocolate flavor — not fake-tasting like some Disney World treats we’ve tried before. If you’re a chocolate lover, you need to RUN to Fuel.

A closer look

The frosting was creamy but not overly sweet, and the chocolate medallion had a fun red heart design.

So what about the cake? It was dense and moist, but as you can see here it’s pure chocolate. So if you like more complex dessert flavors, you might want to skip this. But if you love chocolate? This cupcake is exactly what you need.

It’s a good size cupcake but it’s not overly huge, so this would also be a great treat for kids or anyone who doesn’t want a ginormous dessert. It costs $5.86 (after tax) at Fuel at the Dolphin Hotel.
