We’re certainly enjoying the official start of spooky season (okay, technically that was two months ago in Disney World), as well as seeing what Disney World restaurants had in store for the month (we’re still not over the Double Stuff Oreo cookies at Gideon’s Bakehouse). We even found out some new desserts would be coming to Magic Kingdom’s fireworks party. NEW FOOD, y’all! In the meantime, a few Disney World restaurants changed their menus this week, so let’s see what’s been updated. Warning: Margaritas have been affected!

REVIEW: Disney World Just Threw a Popsicle Into a Margarita…and It Works

Hello, summer. Okay, we’re not going to lie, summer is the season when we are basically RACING to the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT for a nice, refreshing, cold margarita.

The margarita is one of those cocktails that just gets better when it feels like a million degrees out and sweat is pouring into your eyes. However, someone at Choza de Margarita thought, “Hey, how can we make this margarita even MORE refreshing?” and came up with the idea of putting a popsicle in it. So we had to check it out because that is seriously a novel idea.

Well, we have certainly talked a LOT about food in Disney World this week. Well, we ALWAYS talk about food, but this week, we attended the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and ate, well, a LOT of food.

While we’ve been preoccupied with the new entertainment, the recently opened CommuniCore Hall, and the recent closure of Test Track, it was a nice change of pace to have another reason to look forward to coming out to EPCOT. Summer is in full swing in Disney World, and so is the heat, humidity, and rain!

But that hasn’t stopped us from hunting down new food, like a S’mores Shake that annoyed us because marshmallows kept getting stuck in our straw (still delicious, though). We also checked out some new food in EPCOT. We even mourned the loss of a beloved snack (why do you do this to us, Disney?!?!?!). While all that was going on, we kept an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, and, well, we’ve got more menu changes to tell you about this week.

Margarita CHANGES in EPCOT and More Disney World Menu Updates This Week

There are always SO many changes in Disney World, it’s almost impossible to keep up.

Did you save room for dessert?

Just this week alone, we attended the reopening of an updated Disney World restaurant, 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We tried a brand new SECRET cake at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs. We even tried two new snacks in EPCOT. We also took a look at Disney World restaurant menus, and those have had some changes, too.

It’s no secret that we see menu changes at Disney World ALL the time.

When you are in the mood for some savory food and good drinks, we got the place for you and it might not be where you would think. Often when people go to the Mexico Pavillion in the World Showcase, they are grabbing a margarita from La Cava del Tequila or grabbing tacos from La Cantina de San Angel.
