Disney World has some iconic snacks.
Whether you’re starting your day on Main Street with a Mickey-shaped Cinnamon Roll or staring up at the castle with a Mickey Bar in hand, the parks have some tasty treats to enjoy. But Magic Kingdom isn’t the only place to get a fun snack (although it does have quite a few Mickey-shaped treats). Recently, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort added some NEW items to their food court menu and I had to check them out. Come see how it went!
The End Zone Food Court debuted a summertime burger last year — The Bases Loaded Burger. We tried it out recently, and it was Italian-inspired and made with Fresh Mozzarella, Basil Aioli, Arugula, and Tomato on a Toasted Brioche Bun served with French Fries.
But, it got a makeover for summer 2023! Now, it features bacon jam, an onion ring, and beer-cheese sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Also new to the menu is the Baked Macaroni and Cheese Topped with Barbecued Beef. I decided to give them both a try, so let’s dig in!

First, I got the Bases Loaded Burger for $13.49. Again, this burger is topped with bacon jam, an onion ring, and beer-cheese sauce and is served on a toasted brioche bun.
This burger had a ton of flavor! The onion jam had a nice and caramelized, deep flavor — without being overly sweet like a lot of bacon jams I’ve had in the past. I also liked the beer cheese — it was tasty and reminded me a little bit of a thick Cheez Whiz. Strange, I know, but it worked! The onion ring added a nice crispy texture but wasn’t a super prevalent flavor, as the onion jam was more pronounced.
The burger itself was fine — tender, but cooked more than I would have liked, which is just a personal preference. The bun was soft and perfect for the burger, and the fries were typical Disney fries, served hot and fresh.
The only thing that wasn’t great about this burger was that the beer cheese gets to be a little weird if you don’t eat quickly. Remember how I said it was similar to a can of Cheez Whiz? Well, that goes for the texture, too. It was very thick, and if you let it cool before you eat it, you might not love the way it holds up.
Overall, this was a super flavorful burger and I enjoyed it! The older version, with the arugula and fresh mozzarella, is a bit lighter and maybe more geared to the heat of the summer. But if you love beer cheese and caramelized onion flavors, this is definitely worth a try!
Next up, I had the Macaroni and Cheese Topped with Barbecued Beef for $13.29. The macaroni and cheese was good — it was made with a spiral pasta that held onto the cheese really well, which was thick and creamy.
On top, the beef was delicious! It was incredibly tender and had a nice deep & savory flavor that almost tasted smoked. I also enjoyed the green onion that added freshness to the dish, and the crispy onions added a nice crunchy texture.
Look familiar? This macaroni and cheese reminded us a lot of the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork at Flame Tree Barbecue. The mac and cheese portion is so similar, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same recipe! The main difference is that the version at End Zone Food Court is made with beef and not pork.
Personally, I like beef better so I would probably have to give the edge to that version — but it depends on what you’re looking for! The dish at Flame Tree Barbecue is a little sweeter with its barbecue sauce and cole slaw, but it does have the benefit of the actual onion rings. Both are great options, though, so whether you’re at All-Star Sports or in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, check them out!
