Now that summer is winding down and the Halloween season is rolling into Disney World, wait time averages are pretty low. Is this the perfect time to go to Disney World? Well, you’ll have to brave the heat. Let’s see what’s happening with the average wait times in Disney World between August 15th and August 22nd, 2025.
I’m not going to Disney World this year. And honestly, it has been a hard pill for me to swallow.

You see, I’m a Disney adult through and through. I have gone to Disney World every year for over 12 years. I was also a Disney World Cast Member. But this year, I decided we simply weren’t making the trip to Disney World.
We love it when Disney World restaurants think outside the box when it comes to snacks.

Now, granted, not all those little food experiments are a hit (Pickle Milkshake, we’re looking at you). But sometimes, Disney World surprises us by doing something with a snack that we never thought of, and the result is not just brilliant, but also delicious. Well, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs on Disney’s BoardWalk just introduced a new snack that ticks every single box you’d want ticked for a great dessert. Prepare to have you MIND BLOWN.
Staying at a Disney World hotel comes with some pretty good perks. First, you get access to Disney World’s vast transportation system that will take you to pretty much anywhere you want to go on property. Plus you also get Early Entry Theme Park Entry, while some hotels even get Extended Evening Hours.
Blizzard Beach will be closing soon
One of the newest perks, though, is getting a free Disney water park ticket for your arrival day at a water park of your choice. But soon, that choice won’t actually be a choice, because one of those water parks, Blizzard Beach, will be closing.
People just WILL NOT STOP breaking these rules in Magic Kingdom.
Let’s go to Disney World
Of course, there are a few rules you’ll need to follow if you’re heading to Disney World. With everything from dress codes to specifics on what you can have in your park bag, you’ll want to behave if you want to avoid the consequences. We go to Magic Kingdom multiple times a week, and there are two rules we see constantly broken in that park!

ALDI has really gone all out, as they have things like Disney Halloween pajamas, Halloween souvenirs, fall decorations, and more. All the items you’re about to see will be available from August 27th to September 2nd, so get ready!

Pluto Skeleton Sipper
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are all decked out for the spooky season. The Halloween snacks have arrived at restaurants. The Halloween merchandise has dropped in shops. And speaking of Halloween merchandise, we just grabbed a brand-new Halloween sipper that stars none other than the goodest of good boys ever, Pluto!

Disney also dropped some MAJOR news regarding the Muppets Rock ‘n’ Roller coaster retheme, updates for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, the opening date for Zootopia, Better Zoogether, and more!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting a MAJOR makeover with Pueblo Esperanza — a Tropical Americas-themed land. However, before the new land fully takes shape, the park will need to say goodbye to DinoLand U.S.A.
Dinosaur
The removal of DinoLand sadly also means the end of the DINOSAUR attraction, which will ultimately give way to a brand-new Indiana Jones ride similar in ride mechanics to DINOSAUR and Disneyland’s Indiana Jones Adventure, but with an original story. DINOSAUR is set to close permanently sometime in 2026, and when it does, its absence will create an unavoidable problem.
