Magic Kingdom has TONS of construction going on, between Villains Land and Piston Peak underway, not to mention Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin reopening in 2026 after their lengthy refurbishments.

That’s far from all, though, because we’ve just gotten confirmation that another attraction will be briefly closing for a refurbishment slightly earlier than expected, and it could mess up your vacation plans.
While Black Friday may be over and some Christmas deals are already done, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still great deals out there that are fantastic for the people in your life!

An adorable new duo is available now!
We got word that there was a new Starbucks collection in the parks, and while it took some hunting, we finally found it in EPCOT, and boy, was it worth it! Over at Creations Shop, there’s a new Starbucks tumbler and cup duo, and we’ve got a feeling it’ll sell out QUICK!

If you’re not in Disney World today, don’t worry, we’re bringing some of the magic to you, no matter where you are! What some people don’t realize is that a LOT of people love to spend this holiday in the parks, especially because not everyone celebrates Christmas, so to some people, it’s just another day. This is exactly why we say, though, that the holidays are some of the busiest times of year in the parks, because these crowds? YIKES.
Saving money at Disney World IS possible, even though many people think it can’t be done.

The key is that you’re not saving a HUGE chunk of money all in one go (unless you’re taking advantage of Disney hotel or park ticket deals and discounts, which we always recommend!). It’s often saving a few dollars here and there that all add up at the end of the day. For example, you use free cups of water throughout the day to fill up the water bottle you brought from home instead of buying water for $4-$5 each time you’re thirsty. While saving $5 on this Disney World tool may not seem like a lot, not only is that $5 you can save on something else, but this also saves our SANITY in the parks each day, which is invaluable.
Lots of Disney fans were very excited to hear that Avatar: Fire and Ash was on the way when the title of the film was announced back in August 2024.

While the sequel film, Avatar: The Way of Water, had a bit of an underwhelming opening weekend back in 2022, it picked up speed quick and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year. We were curious to see if the same thing would happen with this third installment of the series, but as it turns out, that’s FAR from the case. In fact, the film has hit over $300 million on its opening weekend!

You’ve likely heard about Beaches & Cream, which is the ice cream spot most people think of in this area of Disney World, but located just a few minutes away on foot is BoardWalk Ice Cream. And with a number of changes happening over at the Beach & Cream To-Go Window (and them taking away our sundaes, which is a huge bummer), we’re starting to think that BoardWalk Ice Cream is the place to go for sweet treats on the BoardWalk!
