When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. You can find quick grab-and-go options, a chill sit-down spot, or something luxurious. Between four parks, Disney Springs, and the many resort hotels, there isn’t anything you won’t find!

Topolino’s Terrace at the Riviera!
We recently stopped by Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort to see what was cookin’, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here!
Atmosphere
You’ll find Topolino’s Terrace atop Disney’s Riviera Resort, one of Disney World’s most luxurious deluxe resorts!

Topolino’s Terrace
The rooftop restaurant features signature dining for dinner, fireworks views in the evening, and a character breakfast.

Imagine the firework views!
The restaurant is inspired by “cliffside restaurants of the Riviera”.

We love this spot!
The name Topolino means Mickey Mouse in Italian, so this elegant dining experience still has a Disney flair!

Mickey and Minnie!
But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?!
Menu
The fine signature dining spot offers exquisite French and Italian cuisine. You can get things like the Red Wine-braised Beef Cheeks, Classic Sole Meunière, Duck À L’Orange, and more. They also have lots of desserts and drinks. It is pretty pricey, but the dishes that you get here do reflect what you’re paying for. We’re talking SUPER fine dining!

It’s a fine dining spot!
And now, onto the main event — the food!
Drinks
To drink, we picked up the Passion Fruit Whiskey Sour for $17.50. This cocktail is a reinterpretation of a classic whiskey sour. The passionfruit makes this drink citrus-forward with sour notes that are highly enjoyable.

Passion Fruit Whiskey Sour
The whiskey almost takes the backseat because of the acidity from the passionfruit, and it is so easy that even drinkers who are not big fans of whiskey will enjoy this. The drink is so smooth and light. If we were to give it a feeling, it tastes like spring in a glass!

This was delicious!
And now, onto the eats!
Eats
Before we got started with our orders, there was a complimentary bread service that came to the table! The bread was so fresh, chewy, and overall perfect. They serve it with a very high-quality olive oil that is perfect for dipping.

Complimentary Bread Service
The bread is baked in the shape of wheat stocks, which makes it very easy to tear into individual pieces as you are progressing through the meal.

It’s so soft!
This bread is baked fresh every day on site, and you can 100% tell that it is fresh out of the oven!

SO GOOD!
When it came to ordering, first up, we grabbed the Heirloom Beet Salad for $19.00. This thing had so many flavors and had a mix of both bitter and sweet. They’re creamy, and they’re citrus at the same time. Overall, this is an incredible salad.

Heirloom Beet Salad
The salad felt like a choose-your-own-adventure with each bite. The goat cheese had fresh cracked pepper, and then there was the frisé with the radicchio with the beats, and of course, the pistachio brittle. Literally no two bites were the same, and that’s what makes this dish so much fun and one of the best salads we’ve EVER had on property.

It’s so unique!
For the main course, we had the Duck à La Orange for $57.00. The duck was so amazingly tender and so perfectly cooked! It was a perfect medium. The server did explain beforehand that it would come medium, so if you’re not a fan of perfectly medium duck, this may not be a dish for you.

Duck à La Orange
The sauce was so citrus-forward, and the orange came through, cutting the richness of the duck beautifully. The server also explained that the duck is basted in the sauce while it’s cooking. The orange sauce permeates into the duck, creating a caramelized finish, and it is absolutely beautiful.

This was amazing!
The purée lends this creamy, wonderful texture, and the mix of the orange sauce and duck makes for a beautiful bite. The sautéed mushrooms also add an earthiness, building more complex flavors and different flavors in every bite.

You need to try this!
You can’t come here and NOT grab dessert, so we grabbed the Tiramisu Crème Brûlée for $15.00. This was another playful dish. All the little swiggles and dollops are all components that make up a traditional tiramisu.

Tiramisu Crème Brûlée
So the idea is to take a bite, dipping your spoon into each little component, building a perfect little bite that will remind you perfectly of tiramisu.

Let’s dig in!
The crème brûlée panna cotta was so creamy, and the top had a very satisfying shatter. There’s a coffee swirl cream across the plate, which is absolutely delicious with the dark chocolate dollops. The ladyfingers are the base under the crème brûlée panna cotta. This was a light and airy yet creamy dessert. It’s a really creative spin on two classic desserts, making them both seem like a modern, cohesive dessert.

This was delicious!
So, should you stop by this restaurant on your next trip?
Nosh or Not
This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You want an elegant fine dining experience! At Disney World, it doesn’t get much finer than this (outside of a few options). It’s an amazing signature dining spot, with some unique dishes you won’t find anywhere else on property.
- You want a fireworks view! This is one of the best restaurants for a view of EPCOT’s fireworks, hands down!
- You want something for date night! If you’ve got a special anniversary or occasion, this place screams date night at Disney World.
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You’re on a budget! This is a very pricey spot at Disney World, and TONS of options are way more budget-friendly at Disney.
- You’re a picky eater! This place doesn’t have your go-to American food. If you’re pickier, there won’t be many options here for you.
- You have kids! It’s not that you shouldn’t bring kids here; kids can 100% dine here. In fact, there’s a character breakfast at this location. It’s more so if you were to ask us if you should bring your kids here versus somewhere else; there are other, more kid-friendly options.
Overall
We really enjoyed our time here, from the atmosphere to the meal! We highly recommend this dining spot for those looking for an elegant night!
