Disney may have entirely gotten rid of the Muppets Courtyard at Hollywood Studios, but that doesn’t mean The Muppets are going away forever at the parks!
The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster beginning on May 26th at Hollywood Studios, and over at Disneyland, an iconic Muppet will be making an appearance starting on May 21st — but not in the way you might think! A brand-new Muppet-themed bucket is coming to the Happiest Place on Earth, and we’re sharing everything we know so far.
A NEW Sam Eagle Bucket is coming to Disneyland! While Disney hasn’t announced anything officially, the menu for Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park has been updated to reveal that the Sam Eagle Bucket will be arriving on May 21st, so mark your calendar! While we don’t know what it will look like just yet, we do know that there is a limit of two (2) buckets per person, and it will cost $19.79.
The bucket comes with Spicy Firefly Chips, which are Spicy Corn Chips topped with Chili, Cheese, and Jalapenos. You can likely get them served on the side if you’re not trying to dirty up your bucket!
This new bucket likely has something to do with the fact that the United States of America is turning 250 this year, and who is more American than Sam Eagle?! Disney is also celebrating the anniversary of America with an all-new Soarin’ experience, called Soarin’ Across America! While the Disneyland version doesn’t debut until July 2nd, it’s possible that this new bucket will coincide with even more special experiences for this event.
We haven’t seen a Sam Eagle Bucket in recent history, but back in 2023, a Sam Eagle Sipper was available at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in EPCOT. These babies were POPULAR, so we’re anticipating the new Sam Eagle Bucket will be, too. One thing is for sure: we’ll be making our way to Refreshment Corner on May 31st to grab one for ourselves, so we’ll see you there! If there’s new Muppets merchandise to be had, we’re certainly not going to rest until we have it!
We’ll be on the lookout for an official first look at the new Sam Eagle bucket at Disneyland (and hopefully it will make its way to Disney World, too!). In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
