Who wouldn’t love spending more time in a Disney World park at night? That’s exactly what an After Hours Event will get you, for a price, of course!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
With prices ranging from $155 to $179, you can head to EPCOT on select nights from now until September 24th, 2026. The capacity for these events is limited; you will have easy access to select park attractions — like the very popular Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. And, if you’re looking to ride this attraction during After Hours, this is the BEST time to do it.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is easily the most popular ride at EPCOT right now, and it’s easy to see why! In February of 2025, the attraction switched from using a virtual queue to a standby line, which has led to some seriously long waits, but it’s always been a standby line during EPCOT After Hours. And, if you’re hoping to ride Cosmic Rewind during After Hours at EPCOT, you’re gonna want to keep reading!
Here’s the thing: EPCOT After Hours runs from 10 PM until 1 AM, but folks with tickets can enter the parks as early as 7 PM. When we attended the event in the past, Cosmic Rewind had a 65-minute wait during the first hour or so. But things quickly changed because by 11:50 PM, we noticed the wait on the My Disney Experience app had dropped to just 35 minutes. We decided to test it out, and we found that the wait time was spot on!
Even later, during After Hours, though, right around the time the event was ending at 1 AM, we headed over to Cosmic Rewind, and there was NO wait — we walked right up to where the pre-show started!
And, if you’re not planning on going to After Hours, keep in mind that you can take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, depending on what Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to get a little extra time in the parks before everyone else gets there, and they can make a huge difference when it comes to wait times. Of course, you can still purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for this attraction to ensure that you will ride it! But that also will cost you around $20 per person.
Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during meal times or fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

I wish they would make some of the vehicles non-moving. At least one! Tron has at least one vehicle that isn’t a bike!! Then, motion sickness people, like myself, could ride!
