We are big believers that you do not have to spend a fortune to eat well at Disney World.
Sure, the splurge meals have their place, but some of our absolute favorite bites have come from the most unassuming spots on property. And the food court at Disney’s Pop Century Resort (Everything POP Shopping and Dining) is honestly one of those places we think gets overlooked way too often. On a recent visit, we decided to try the Street Corn Fries, which are currently sitting at just $6.99 on the menu. Yes, really. Under seven dollars. At Disney World. You know we had to.
What Are the Street Corn Fries?
The Street Corn Fries are exactly what they sound like (and also somehow more than what you expect). You get a generous portion of fries topped with roasted corn relish, cotija cheese, and a cilantro-lime crema drizzled over the whole thing.
The flavor profile here is very much inspired by elote, the classic Mexican street corn preparation that has rightfully taken over every food scene it touches in the last several years. Disney leaning into that for a food court snack is a genuinely smart move, and we were curious to see if the execution matched the concept.
What We Thought
The short version: we really liked these. The longer version is that every component on this dish is doing real work, and they all play together nicely. The cilantro-lime crema was the standout for us. It was creamy in the best possible way, and the flavor was bright and punchy without being overwhelming. You could taste both the cilantro and the lime distinctly, which is not always a given with a sauce like this. Sometimes these kinds of cremas end up tasting like a vague green dairy situation, but this one had personality.
The roasted corn relish added a sweetness that balanced the acidity of the crema really well. And the cotija brought that slightly salty, crumbly, creamy quality that makes street corn so satisfying in the first place. There was also a subtle bitterness from the pepper in the mix that kept everything from feeling one-note. The fries themselves held up under the toppings, which matters more than people give credit for. Nobody wants a soggy base situation when you are trying to enjoy a loaded snack like this.
The Value Factor
At $6.99, this is genuinely one of the better snack deals we have come across at a Disney World resort in a while. The portion is solid, the ingredients feel intentional, and the overall experience is way more elevated than you would expect from a counter-service food court order. If you are trying to keep costs manageable on your trip without sacrificing flavor, this is the kind of find that makes that possible.
It is also worth knowing that the Street Corn Fries are not exclusive to Pop Century. You can find them at several Disney World resort food courts, so if you are staying somewhere else on property and want to track these down, there is a good chance your resort has them too.
Bottom Line
We came in with moderate expectations and left genuinely impressed. The Street Corn Fries at Everything POP are a fun, flavorful, affordable snack that we would absolutely order again. If you find yourself at Pop Century, do not walk past this one.
