REVIEW: Costco's New $3 Sundae Is Viral…And Now We Know Why

Well, all that shopping at Costco sure makes you hungry, right? Fortunately, Costco has a food court, and almost everything in that food court is viral in some way or another because, let’s face it, Costco offers some delicious CHEAP food. Well, we just found out about a new $3 snack available at Costco, so we had to try it out for ourselves.

Meet Costco’s new Double Chocolate Mint Sundae for $2.99. Yep, you’ve probably seen this baby all over the Internet, but what you might need to know is “Is it any good?” Well, we decided to find out for you. It’s mint ice cream with cookie crumbles and chocolate sauce. And guess what? Yes, it IS good. The mint ice cream has a fresh mint flavor that isn’t too overpowering, and it’s balanced perfectly by the chocolate drizzle.

The crushed cookies are just the icing…or crumbled cookie pieces…on the top of the cake…err…sundae, and really just tie the flavors all together, as well as add a nice texture and crunch. If Girl Scouts Thin Mints were an ice cream sundae, it would be this. This is one of those snacks we will get again and again, so we hope Costco doesn’t plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.
