Butterbeer Season Returns To Universal Parks With TONS of New Snacks, Souvenirs, and More!

One of our favorite times of the year has arrived at Universal Parks, though many people don’t know about it!

Butterbeer!

No, we’re not talking about Mardi Gras (though, we do love that celebration too!) — we’re talking about Butterbeer Season! Yes, this does exist, and each year, we get to see special offerings in the Universal Parks all over the world to celebrate this beloved, iconic drink. If you’re visiting Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, or Universal Beijing Resort from March 1st through May 31st (or Universal Studios Japan from April 1st through May 17th), here’s what you can’t miss!

Butterbeer is mentioned in the Harry Potter novels and film franchise numerous times, as it’s a very popular drink in the Wizarding World. While you’re able to grab classic Butterbeer (cold) in the parks, you can also try Hot Butterbeer and Frozen Butterbeer year-round, as well as find other special Butterbeer snacks in different parks, such as Butterbeer Ice Cream, a Butterbeer Crepe, and so much more.

Frozen Butterbeer

At both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood from March 1st through May 31st, you’ll be able to grab the limited-time Butterbeer Waffle at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley.

Over in Universal Studios Hollywood, the Butterbeer Cream Puff will also be returning. However, Universal Orlando will introduce the new Butterbeer Cupcake, Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich, Butterbeer Candy Apple, and Butterbeer Shortbread Bar available at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley.

That’s not all, though! Over in Epic Universe, you’ll be able to grab the new Biéraubeurre (Butterbeer) Crème Brûlée available at Café L’air de la Siréne in the Ministry of Magic. New butterbeer-flavored truffles and macarons will also arrive at the K. Rammelle confectionery shop in this land as well.

We can’t forget about merchandise! Universal has also announced that an entire new butterbeer collection, including a Spirit Jersey, t-shirt, bucket hat, and more at various locations in Universal Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood, as well as online.

You can also celebrate with the Butterbeer Cream Puff and a special merchandise collection, including a collectible Harry Potter 25 Years of Magic Butterbeer Stein, over at Universal Beijing Resort now through May 31st. From April 1st through May 17th at Universal Studios Japan, you can also grab the Butterbeer Cream Puff and check out a special merchandise collection at Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods.
