It’s a chicken. It’s a cow. It’s Cluck-a-Doodle Moo at this year’s Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!
The 2025 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially started at Disneyland Resort, and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through April 21st, you can devour some tasty eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat at the Cluck-a-Doodle Moo booth? Well, we’ve checked it out, and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.
Menu
Over at the Cluck-a-Doodle Moo booth, you’ll find a new food dish and new drinks! New on the food side is the Asa’DOS, which is grilled skirt steak and chipotle chicken with Spanish rice and salsa verde. Get it? This dish is both the CLUCK and the MOO. 😉
If you’re looking for some festival beverages, you’ll find a boozy Açai Passion Tea-ki Cocktail, a Mexican Lager, a new Michelada, and several other new beers. Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the new Asa’DOS for $7.95. This is a grilled skirt steak and chipotle chicken with Spanish rice and salsa verde — covering both the chicken and beef aspect of the booth’s name.
While we were really looking forward to this dish, it was a bit of a letdown! We thought the carna asada was fatty and hard to chew, and the artificial smokey flavor was overpowering. The chicken had great texture and came right off the bone, but it was also overwhelming with the smokey flavor.
The rice under the meat was just fine and wasn’t very special.
Drinks
You’ll find a lot of drinks on the menu at Cluck-a-Doodle Moo this year — and if you’re a fan of beers, this might be a booth for you.
We ordered the Açai Passion Tea-ki Cocktail made with pineapple rum, dark rum, passion fruit syrup, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Açai Black Tea, and lime juice garnished with a skewered Luxardo cherry and pineapple wedge for $18.
This drink was super refreshing! We loved how it tasted exactly like a Mai Tai and didn’t have a strong alcohol flavor. The açaí made it sweet but was rounded out by the tartness from the life. It had strong tropical vibes, and we really enjoyed it!
Also on the drink menu this year is an Estrella Jalisco Mexican Lager, an Estrella Jalisco Michelada, several other new beers, a hard cider, and a Festival Beer Flight.
OVERALL
Of the two items we tried this year, the Açai Passion Tea-ki Cocktail was definitely the standout! We weren’t too sure about the Asa’DOS, but if you try it, make sure you leave a review in the comments!
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
