Actress Catherine O’Hara has passed away at the age of 71.

According to Variety, the Canadian-American actress’s manager confirmed her passing. Her career spanned over 5 decades.
A Hollywood legend has passed away. O’Hara was known for several famous films like “Home Alone” and “Beetlejuice” as well as the hugely popular show “Schitt’s Creek.” She began her career with the Canadian sketch comedy series “Second City Television,” and she was even nominated for an Emmy for her work on the show.

She also starred in “After Hours” before starring as Macaulay Culkin’s mother in “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2.” She also has a history with the Walt Disney Company, serving as the voice of Sally in “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and Tina in “Chicken Little.”

She also serves as one of the narrators in EPCOT’s Canada Far and Wide attraction alongside Eugene Levy. She starred alongside Levy in “Schitt’s Creek,” from 2015 until 2020.
