Is there anything better than a festival with tons of new foods and drinks in a Disney park? We spend our days going from booth to booth because it’s truly what we love. Luckily for us, Disneyland’s Lunar New Year Festival is officially here!

Red Dragon Spice Traders
We stopped by the Red Dragon Spice Traders booth in Disney California Adventure to bring our FULL REVIEW of what’s really worth your time and money here. With tons of food, drinks, rare characters, entertainment, and more at this festival, we’re here to see what really deserves to be on your “must-do” list.
This year, we’re celebrating the Year of the Horse, a symbol of independence, energy, and strength at Disney California Adventure! This festival is available from January 23 through February 22nd. This doesn’t give us much time to enjoy these limited-time snacks, so let’s stop chit-chatting and dive in!
Menu
Red Dragon Spice Traders is located near the Performance Corridor, across from Sonoma Terrace. On the menu, you’ll find Spicy Chicken Wings, a Mandarin Orange Cream Puff, and some cocktails!
After staring at these delicious photos for a while, we decided to dive in!
Eats
We started with the Spicy Chicken Wings with sesame seaweed crunch for $9.00, which is a returning snack.

Fire Chicken Wings
The chicken was crunchy, peppery, and moist. They’re a great lighter lunch to grab if you’re hungry but not too hungry. They do have a bit of a kick to them, so be warned!

The chicken!
Another returning bite is the Mandarin Orange Cream Puff filled with citrus cream and Mandarin compote for $9.00.

Mandarin Orange Cream Puff
This one is fantastic! It has a crispy topping baked on a soft cream puff with a fruity filling. The mandarin compote is a little like baby food consistency, but it tastes super fresh. The citrus cream has a thicker consistency than the compote and is super smooth.
Drinks
We tried the new Honeydew Colada with Rum, melon liqueur, honeydew cream, coconut cream, and sweet and sour, topped with a slushy made with DOLE Whip Pineapple for $18.50.

Honeydew Colada
The honeydew flavor in this drink is super sweet and very strong. The coconut cream cuts the sweetness a bit, but not a whole lot. The slushy-like consistency is fun, so we did appreciate that. If you stir it well, the sweetness evens out a bit, and it’s much more tolerable. If you don’t like honeydew, this might not be for you.
We also grabbed the Soju Cocktail Flight for $19.50. It comes with the Peach Yogurt Soju Cocktail, Mango Soju Cocktail, and Green Apple Soju Cocktail.

Soju Cocktail Flight
The Mango Soju Cocktail is new, and it’s made with Soju, Sprite, mango purée, and sweet and sour. It was very hard to taste any alcohol in this one. It had a sweet and fresh taste!

Mango Soju Cocktail
The Peach Yogurt Soju Cocktail is made with Soju, Sprite, white peach syrup, and yogurt. The white color was a little off-putting, but the flavor was really nice. You could taste the hints of peach and Sprite. This drink was dangerous because it goes down very easily.

Peach Yogurt Soju Cocktail
Lastly, the new Green Apple Soju Cocktail with Soju, grapefruit liqueur, green apple syrup, and sweet and sour. This one, we don’t have much to say other than it tastes like an apple Jolly Rancher.

Green Apple Soju Cocktail
You can get all three cocktails as separate drinks if there’s one you really enjoyed from the flight!
Overall
Overall, the food is good here, but you should really come for the drinks! We think this booth is worth the stop, especially with its new options.
