Hey there folks, it’s time for what you’ve all been waiting for…the first Tiny Train Town update of 2026!
We’re back!
You know that this itty bitty city is always getting up to mischief, and of course, as the mayor it’s my duty to document that mischief and report back to you guys. So if you’re ready for some nonsense, shenanigans, and WILD stories, let’s go!
First of all, I have to report the tragic news of another derailment! A passenger train slipped off the tracks during a recent trip through the village, which has led to a major safety investigation. People come to this town to ride our trains, and we can’t have scandals like this every few months. I’m determined to get to the bottom of it!

The good news is that many of the passengers were okay, though some in the car that slipped off the tracks had to be transported to the local hospital. Their medical bills will be covered by the city…we’re not barbarians over here!

In other disastrous news, a patch of hidden quicksand has been found on the outskirts of the town. A local farmer was carting his produce to and from the town market when he made a wrong step and fell in the quicksand up to the waist! Thankfully, the man was traveling with his elderly mother, who was able to turn the carriage around, run back to town, and get help.
Interesting
I’m starting to wonder if this quicksand business is running deeper than we originally thought, too. Some of the lampposts in the town square are beginning to lean, and there’s concern from the town council that they could fall on residents or buildings. Is there something dangerous lurking beneath the literal surface of Tiny Train Town? Only time will tell!

* The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening. We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.
