We talk about shoes a lot on this site, but that’s because we’ve all been there…we’ve all worn the wrong shoes to Disney World and ended up with sore, blistered feet. What you put on your feet matters.
That’s even MORE true if you’re a runner and participating in runDisney events. Well, if you want to score a great new running shoe (that would probably be good for walking around the parks, too), you’ll want to check out a new Disney collection by Brooks (yep, that’s a brand we talk about a lot here).
Brooks has collaborated with Disney to bring some brand-new limited-edition runDisney shoes to the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, which is happening in Disney World from January 7th through January 11th. The shoes are designed to provide everything you need from a running shoe, along with that classic Disney storytelling. There are the Adrenaline GTS 25 runDisney shoes for $165 with a special runDisney design and a gradient blue and white color scheme. You’ll also find some subtle Mickeys on the shoes, too.
The Ghost 17 Mickey Mouse Shoes for $170 are completely themed around Mickey. You’ve got those classic contrasting colors of red, black, and yellow, plus a Mickey silhouette on the heel and Mickey’s signature on the side. These would go great with a Mickey-themed running outfit!
You can also get the Ghost 17 Chip n’ Dale Shoes featuring everyone’s favorite chipmunks for $170. These shoes are done up in Chip ‘n’ Dale’s signature colors, with one shoe having black stitching and Chip, and the other shoe having red stitching and Dale. TOO cute. They even have a fuzzy tongue.
The Ghost Max 3 runDisney WDW for $170 features everything you love about Disney World. These metallic shoes are sprinkled with pixie dust and have Cinderella Castle on the heel. They’re MAGICAL.
Okay, Stitch lovers, there’s a shoe for you, too. The Glycerin 22 Stitch for $175 features your favorite alien on a shoe in Stitch’s iconic blue colors.
You’ll also be able to pick up some special Lace Badges for your shoes in a 6-pack that commemorates the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. The badges have charms for race distance.
If you want to get your hands on these shoes and Lace Badges, you’ll need to visit the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports starting on January 7th. There will be a virtual queue, but you can visit the runDisney website for more details. Note that you are only allowed to purchase two of each design (for a total of 10 pairs) per person.
