Disneyland just announced the themes AND dates for the 2026 Disneyland After Dark events! These are separately ticketed, themed events that take place after hours at Disneyland Park. The After Dark events feature unique entertainment, special character encounters, tasty food and drink, shorter wait times, exclusive merchandise collections, and more. These events are usually very popular, so make sure you plan ahead if you hope to attend!

Disneyland After Dark events take place from 9 PM until 1 AM, and you can also enter the park before the event officially starts at 6 PM. That is three hours of pre-party time, and four hours of party time included with your ticket. Disneyland is introducing a NEW theme this year, plus four returning themes. We have all the details and the dates for each event. Let’s take a look!

Disneyland After Dark parties will take place on select nights in 2026, from January through June. You can choose from five different themed evenings! Each themed event includes special offerings that are exclusive to that theme. Here are the dates for Disneyland After Dark in 2026:

Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite

Sweethearts’ Nite is a celebration of your sweetheart, whether that be a valentine, spouse, family member, or best friend. This event includes lots of special offerings, including some NEW ones like the “Celebrate Love Cavalcade”, “Once Upon a Dream – A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook”, and Disney Duets festive karaoke. You can also enjoy the Valentine’s Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace and take advantage of special photo backdrops. Magic Key pre-sale tickets will be available for Inspire Key Holders on Tuesday, December 9th, no earlier than 9 AM PT. Then on Wednesday, December 10th (no earlier than 9 AM PT), the pre-sale will open to all Magic Key holders. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Thursday, December 11th, no earlier than 9 AM PT. 

Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites

This is an all-new theme for 2026! The event will celebrate seven decades of “unforgettable moments at the beloved theme park.” There will be swing dancing a Royal Theatre in Fantasyland, a Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, line dancing at The Golden Horseshoe, photo opportunities, and characters from “days gone by” like “Long Lost Friends” from Disney Afternoon, “Mother” and “Father” from Carousel of Progress, Merlin, Flik and Atta, and the Fantasmic! Monkeys.

Inspire Key Holder can purchase pre-sale tickets on Tuesday, December 9th, no earlier than 9 AM PT. All Magic Key holders can purchase pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, December 10th, no earlier than 9 AM PT. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Thursday, December 11th, no earlier than 9 AM PT. 

Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite

This theme celebrates the eras of Disney Channel. There will be special entertainment, exclusive characters, and plenty of music!

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite

Celebrate Star Wars during Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite! The night will feature character gathering, out-of-this-world photo ops, and more.

Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite

Join Disneyland for an evening celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community! The night will include rainbow projections, lively decor, dazzling entertainment, and so much more.
