A store has officially reopened in Disney Springs! While this store wasn’t closed for long (only about two weeks), we are happy to see that it has reopened.
Rothy’s is open again!
Rothy’s at Disney Springs closed for a very brief refurbishment earlier this month, and as of September 26th it is back to business as normal. The store has been at Disney Springs for almost two years– it opened back in November 2023. Rothy’s focuses on sustainable and washable shoes and handbags.
We stopped by to check out the store after its short refurbishment, and while there aren’t any super dramatic differences, we did notice some new details in the store! One of the main details we noticed was the added pop of blue throughout the store.
We love the pop of blue!
Prior to the refurbishment, the store primarily featured creams and wooden elements. The creams and woods are still there, but now they are mixed in with some blue!
Rothy’s is a bit more colorful!
We also noticed a new display in the back of the store, along with some more pops of blue at the check-out counter. It also looks like the green curtains that were hanging at the back of the store have now been removed.
Refurbished Rothy’s
We have quite a few team members who love bringing their Rothy’s shoes to Disney World for occasions that require being a bit more dressed up! They are also comfortable enough to walk in — although we wouldn’t recommend wearing them ALL day at the parks. They are also easy to pack and you can wash them, which can be a lifesaver. I miss the Uggs store! I would treat myself each visit and that was my souvenir! Sugarboo is fun. Mostly we shop the old Disney Marketplace….Trends (hate the changes they made), Xmas shop, World of Disney, etc. We usually eat at T-Rex or Earl of Sandwich. It’s really not fun shopping or eating at Disney Springs anymore. Too crowded with rude people.
