Universal Orlando Confirms Changes To Early Park Admission Hotel Perk

Are you planning a visit to Universal Orlando? A lot of folks are right now, especially now that Epic Universe is open and Halloween Horror Nights just kicked off.

Well, if you are visiting Universal Orlando soon, you might also be staying in a Universal Orlando hotel. As you may know, staying in a Universal Orlando hotel scores you certain perks, with one of the best being early admission to the theme parks, including Universal’s water park, Volcano Bay. Well, the Early Park Admission perk at Volcano Bay recently changed.

During Universal Orlando’s Early Park Admission, guests staying at Universal Orlando hotels can get into the parks up to one hour before the parks officially open to the public. During that time, select attractions and rides are open. Recently, those hotel guests visiting Volcano Bay could access the following attractions during that early admission hour:

Honu of Honu ika Moana
ika Moana of Honu ika Moana
Krakatau Aqua Coaster
Ko’okiri Body Plunge
Waturi Wave Pool
Ohyah of the Ohyah and Ohno Drop Slides
Ohno of the Ohyah and Ohno Drop Slides
Puka Uli Lagoon

Well, that list has changed. From now through October 31st, the following attractions at Volcano Bay will be available during early admission:

Honu of Honu ika Moana
ika Moana of Honu ika Moana
Krakatau Aqua Coaster
Ko’okiri Body Plunge
Waturi Wave Pool

So, if you’ll be visiting Universal Orlando soon and want to use early admission at Volcano Bay, you’ll want to prioritize those rides that will be available during that time. Note that early admission could be affected by things like weather, which can even occasionally close Volcano Bay (particularly during hurricane season).
