It’s time for our usual update on the Cinderella Castle repainting!
Progress on Cinderella Castle!
We recently went to the Magic Kingdom to check on the project, so we can get updated and so we can update you. Our most recent update is going to shock you with how much progress has been made!

The castle is in the process of returning to its original color scheme of blues, grays, and gold accents — a color scheme we haven’t seen since 2020. From 2020 to now, the castle has been pink, blue, and gold, which was for the park’s 50th anniversary.
Major progress is being made!
The major difference this week is that the gray coloring is covering a BIG chunk of one side of the castle. It’s crazy to see how much work they’ve done. Some of the blues are really starting to pop! We’re thinking that the grey parts still need some detailing to be done.
She’s getting a makeover!
If you’re visiting the Magic Kingdom, the painting work is only done in the morning. So, you don’t have to worry about not getting those iconic photos in front of the castle, as the cranes are taken down at noon.
The moat is gone!
It’s been weird seeing the castle without the moat around it. The area definitely doesn’t look like how it usually does with everything going on. The fact that they started this in January and have made this much progress is crazy!
We love seeing the progress!
We aren’t sure when the castle is supposed to be complete, but Disney is aiming for later this year! We’ll be checking in often to see how the project is going, like we have been. Make sure to follow us at the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss out on the latest updates.
