With so many theme parks and popular attractions in the Orlando area, how do you possibly choose?! It depends on what you’ll be visiting, your budget, location, and a myriad of other factors. However, many travelers choose to look at reviews and rankings, and one hotel continues to dominate!

U.S. News has revealed its picks for the BEST resorts and hotels in the U.S. and the Four Seasons Orlando was honored AGAIN!

Four Seasons

First of all, Four Seasons Orlando has been named the number one Best Resort and number one Best Hotel in Walt Disney World by U.S. News & World Report for the 11th consecutive year. After being named the number four last year, in 2025 it has taken the 15th spot for Best Resort in the USA and the 26th spot for Best Hotel in the USA. That’s an impressive accomplishment!

The Four Seasons Orlando is not Disney-owned or operated, but it is located on Disney World property with tons of its own perks and amenities. So where do the Disney World and Universal hotels stack up? Since they are both theme park giants, fans have created a comparison of the two over the years, but according to the Best Hotels in Orlando list, Universal is the winner.

Two Universal hotels came in before a Disney World hotel was named:

#13: Universal’s Loews Sapphire Falls Resort
#15: Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Universal Orlando

The Walt Disney World Swan, which is a Marriott resort, took the 23rd spot for best in Orlando and Universal followed up in the 24th spot with Universal’s Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. The first Disney-owned hotel on the list is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas — Jambo House at number 28.
