Sit down — we’ve got some BIG movie news coming straight at ya!
We’re at Destination D23, and Disney just dropped a bunch of movie news. We’ve already seen teasers for Toy Story 5, TRON: Ares, and Hoppers, but now we’ve got more information about Zootopia 2 — let’s dive in!
During the Walt Disney Studios panel, Disney announced some NEW details about Zootopia 2. Judy and Nick are settling into their new life as partners in the police force, and all your favorite characters will be back again!
The story for the film picks up right after the first movie, and we got to watch the opening scene during the panel. Unfortunately, Judy and Nick get benched after a difficult case, but they have to get to the bottom of a mystery. A pit viper has been smuggled in to steal a priceless Zootopia artifact, but he’s not the real villain…so what’s going on here? It’s up to Nick and Judy to find out!
Of course, as Judy and Nick go on an adventure to uncover the snake’s secret, there are dangerous situations, exciting chase scenes, and new animals to meet. In the process of trying to solve the case, they become wanted fugitives! Will they clear their names?
Patrick Warburton has joined the cast to play Zootopia’s new mayor, actor-turned-politician Brian Winddancer. He joined the stage at the panel, and Disney even brought out Officer Clawhauser to make his stage debut.
It was also revealed that Yvette Nicole Brown will play EMT Otter and Bearoness Bear. Such exciting additions to the cast!
We can’t wait to see more details about this movie before it releases on November 26th, 2025! We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop.
