I watched this in theaters when it first came out, but I am so excited to finally be able to watch the adorable story of Lilo and her best pal, Stitch, from the comfort of my couch. I love being an AMC A-List Member, but I never underestimate the joy of playing on my phone while watching a movie.
Lilo & Stitch comes to Disney+ on September 3rd!

This live-action movie takes the original story of Lilo & Stitch from the cartoon and transforms it into a modern film for a new audience.

In the box office, Lilo & Stitch made over $1 billion and is the first Motion Picture Association (MPA) title of 2025 to reach this milestone. It also hit a record-breaking $183 million at the box office on its Memorial Day weekend debut.

This movie created a lot of controversy for fans everywhere as they questioned the need for a live-action version of the cartoon. Beyond that, they also worried about character and plot changes and how these changes affect the original storyline.
