REVIEW: We Tried the BEST Snack at One of Hollywood Studios' Worst Restaurants

We’ve tried quite literally DOZENS of snacks around Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

From basics like cupcakes and ice cream and hot dogs to more fun options like the beloved Totchos at Woody’s Lunch Box and the iconic Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters, there are plenty of grab-and-go goodies to add to your must-try list when you visit. And one of those must-try eats is going to bring you to one of the park’s WORST restaurants.

While Hollywood Studios may have some good snacks, some of its quick service dining leaves a lot to be desired. One of the places we’re not really recommending that people jump up to visit is Rosie’s All-American Cafe. The food here is fairly basic — a burger, hot dog, and chicken tendies kinda sitch.

However, they do have a standout snack on the menu! A little while back, Disney started introducing more loaded french fries on its quick service menus, and here at Rosie’s, you’ll find the Buffalo Fries for $6.49. These are ranch-seasoned French fries drizzled with buffalo-ranch sauce and blue cheese dressing.

The fries were nice and crispy on the outside, but soft in the middle, and the ranch seasoning added some extra depth to the potato flavor. But the stars here are the sauces! The buffalo ranch is cool yet spicy, and the blue cheese adds a much-needed tangy, sharp flavor.

The chives top it all off with a little bit of brightness. We were pretty impressed by something that, on the surface, seemed like a really simple snack. Disney fries have always been pretty good, but these toppings take them to a whole new level!

So the next time you’re strolling down Sunset Boulevard and you wish you had a salty, savory treat in your hands, snag these Buffalo Fries! You can also find them over at ABC Commissary and Backlot Express if you’re down that way.
