Disney World has finally gotten its all-new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight! This nighttime spectacular has been anticipated for a long time, and now it is debuting in Magic Kingdom on July 20th. The question is, where’s the best spot?
If you’re planning a Disney World trip and want to watch the new parade, we’re confident we’ve found the BEST spot for this new nighttime spectacular. The Disney Starlight follows the same parade route as all the other Magic Kingdom parades, but in reverse! It will start on Main Street, U.S.A., and end in Frontierland.

While the parade will have two nightly showings at 9 PM and 11 PM, and will be held every night in the Magic Kingdom unless there is an after-hours party or disruptive weather, you want to ensure you can get the best views.

Where should you watch Starlight? The producer and director of the parade say it’ll be larger than life, so even if you aren’t in the front, you’ll still be able to see the floats. In terms of spots, we have some thoughts!
Watching a parade on Main Street, U.S.A., feels so classic and will make for the best pictures with the castle in the background. One of our go-to spots is standing in the middle area of Main Street, the hub, and looking down towards the train station.
You can also stand and face the castle! The floats will pass right by the castle, creating that perfect magical moment. We’re leaning towards any spots along Main Street, but don’t forget that you can catch the parade in Frontierland as well, and while the backdrop might not be as themed to the parade like the castle, you’ll still be able to see all the floats and performers.
This parade will always be popular, but it will be extra popular with it being brand-new! You’ll need to arrive at least an hour early, if not more, to ensure you get the desired view. Don’t forget there will also be two viewings, as well as Happily Ever After, the fireworks show, at 10 PM.

Is there any grass area open if they also have the fireworks dessert event going on?
Where is a great/comfortable spot for both the parade and fireworks that can be accessed by non dessert party people?
