Orlando International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the United States, and if you’ve been planning a Disney World trip, this is most likely the airport you’ll be coming through.
Something is coming up that’s EXTRA special at the Orlando Executive Airport, which is the designated reliever for the Orlando International Airport. There’s a FREE family event happening later this month that adults and kids alike are sure to love — trust us when we say you don’t want to miss it!
On Saturday, July 26th, from 11 AM to 2 PM, you can head to the airport for the Wings and Wheels Family Fest at Orlando Executive Airport!
You’ll get the chance to see aircraft & helicopters up close, as well as emergency response vehicles, high-end sports cars, and specialty transports. You can also hear great music, eat at food trucks, and so much more.
We can’t wait to see how this event turns out! If you’ve got kiddos who adore cars, trucks, emergency vehicles, and more, they will especially adore this event.
If you’ve ever been to the Orlando International Airport, the bigger of the Orlando airports, it might be the busiest you’ve seen. It can be very overwhelming, but don’t worry, we have some tips to manage it!
First up, we love the MCO Reserve, which allows you to prebook a time to go through TSA security. We describe it as our Lightning Lane (or FastPass!) at TSA. You’ll go in a separate line for your reserved time.
We also make sure we’re staying up to date on airport news (which we share with you here at DFB!). Recently, TSA has allowed passengers to keep their shoes on through security. Trust us, you don’t want to be that person who is fumbling with their shoes while everyone is rushing you along.
Also, make sure you have your REAL ID before going through security!
