Disney Just Shared a NEW Look at the Upcoming De Vil’s Lounge on the Destiny Cruise Ship

Disney Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship will officially set sail on its maiden voyage on November 20th, and we’ve already learned quite a bit about the new ship. The theme will be heroes and villains, which, of course, means you can expect to see some of Disney’s most iconic villains onboard. However, one of those villains, Cruella de Vil, is getting her very own piano lounge on the ship — and Disney just shared more details about that lounge.

De Vil’s Piano Lounge is a “lavish affair” with decor inspired by Disney’s 101 Dalmatians animated film and the 2021 live-action movie, Cruella. Disney described it as having a Hollywood Regency-inspired aesthetic.” Inside the lounge, you’ll be able to enjoy trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wine and bubbly.

Just beyond the ship’s Grand Hall, you’ll see the lounge’s marquee, which spells out “De Vil’s” in letters that look like piano keys. As you enter the lounge, a floor mosaic will say “How Marvelous,” taken from Cruella’s infamous catchphrase. The letters will be surrounded by 15 paw prints.

Inside, you’ll see Cruella’s flair for style and “wickedly bold attitude.” The furnishings will have unique shapes and a “luxurious feel with rich textures and couture fabrics” in black and white with red accents. The carpet will have an ink-splotched design hand-drawn as a tribute to Ken Anderson, the artist who oversaw the designs of the characters in the animated 101 Dalmatians.
