Are you keeping up with all of the Disney changes?

It’s Disney World!
Disney World is growing and changing a lot right now! Some classic lands are closing permanently, new attractions are coming, and we’re trying to keep up with it all while our melting Dole Whip runs down our fingers. Let’s dive into the biggest news from this week!
Disney World has been a busy girl once again! Starting over in Magic Kingdom, the debut of the park’s new nighttime parade is drawing near. Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away begins on July 20th, 2025, and we finally know when you can watch the parade!

You can catch the new nighttime parade at 9 PM and 11 PM each night that it runs! We also learned the parade will kick off on Main Street, U.S.A., and will end in Frontierland. The parade won’t run on the evenings when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party occurs.

You’ll be able to see the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio kick off the parade before Disney Princesses, Miguel, Mirabel, Peter Pan, and more light up the Magic Kingdom!

Next up, it’s time to get hungry! Disney World’s newest restaurant is getting ready to open, and we finally have an expected date.

Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina is now accepting reservations beginning on July 26th, 2025! We noticed the restaurant taking reservations over on OpenTable, but the restaurant has yet to confirm if this is the official opening date, so it could open earlier. The new table service will be a signature dining spot at the Swan and Dolphin Resort!

Bourbon Steak is a chain restaurant, so we stopped by one of the open restaurants to see what it was all about. The menu hasn’t been released for the Disney World location, but some of the dishes on Disney’s website notes dishes including Bone-In Ribeye and Onion Rings, Warm Beignets with Various Sauces, and the Japanese Old Fashion Drink.

You know we will put this new restaurant to the test as soon as we can!

Finally, the biggest news of all is that we finally know when Test Track is reopening in EPCOT! Get ready for some high-speed adventures starting again on July 22nd, 2025!

Test Track
The ride has been closed for over a year and is currently being rethemed into the third version that we’ve seen of this attraction. The newest version will be inspired by the classic EPCOT attraction, World of Motion, which was located where Test Track is now.

The ride will feature new scenes that will showcase technological advancements and demonstrate how “lifestyles and relationships to mobility connect everyone.” Scenes will focus on onboard technology, customization, and personalization, ending with a trip through a scenic outdoor route.

Test Track’s new sign
Earlier this month, the new sign for the attraction was installed, meaning we were one step closer to opening. Disney confirmed they will host previews for the attraction, so if you’re an Annual Passholder, Cast Member, DVC Member, Club 33 Member, or Golden Oaks resident, keep your eyes peeled for more information.
